Coding with Chris streeter

Chris went to University of California, Berkeley. His career is the Co-founder of Educreations. His degree was in computer science and coding. Interested in education partially because some members of his family were teachers and motivators. His idea for Educreations started while he worked at a computer company and he and his friends wanted to do something. Educreations is a place where anyone can make create video lessons. He gets feedback from students and teachers. They are working to save save your progress and edit. The company believes that you should enjoy where you are working. He said that computer code is like speaking another language. Chris was inspired by his 6th grade teacher mr. Peach. Khan Academy inspired Chris to make Educreations.

All i's on Jackie

Jackie works as an Associate Director of Student Media at Clemson University. She likes working with college kids because they are fun and interesting. Part of her job is to critique the students work in the newspaper. You want to be sure all your facts are correct, and she had four people check over her work. If you publish something that is incorrect it is hard to get back and your reputation could be damaged. It's really important that you triple check your work before you publish. Her advice for her students was to reread their work and ask themselves how do they know it. The most important thing she learned in college is always ask for help. If you don't try it you won't succeed. Work hard from the start. Don't forget that you can do anything, so don't let yourself get in the way of your dreams. They are fun because they are learning and growing. Learning about themselves and the world.
